If you had a magic wand that allowed you to pass any legislation you wanted in order to help alleviate the opioid crisis in your state, what would that legislation look like?

Opioid penalties for over prescription - both for health care providers and manufacturers.

Are there any additional thoughts you would like to share?

I have long encouraged the Wyoming attorney general's office to pursue legal action against those companies that improperly promote over-prescription of opioids. Their office has initiated a lawsuit.

Having been a defense attorney on our local drug court, I've seen the devastating effects of opioid abuse. I believe that I am about to be appointed to serve on our state's opioid task force.
